New Additions to the LEP Team

Our team in the Kingston office has gained three great new members since the start of the new year!

Nanette Ayers Dalton joined us as our Business Manager in February. Prior to joining LEP, Nanette held the position of Business Manager at the Shadowland Theatre in Ellenville, New York. Her background includes working in the credit department at a solar energy distribution company in Kingston for three years, as well as serving as the Practice Manager of an animal hospital for over ten years. Nanette earned a BFA in Theatre from the University of Detroit.  She lives in Rhinebeck, New York.

In March, Caitlin Salemi joined us as a Program Assistant. Prior to joining LEP, Caitlin was the Coordinator of the NYC Food Forum (NYCFF) where she co-produced the Mayoral Candidate Forum on the Future of Food in New York City in July 2013, coordinated the development of a 5-point food policy primer and supported the NYCFF Coordinating Committee in advancing a visioning process to integrate and advance racial and economic equity within the Forum. Previously, as General Coordinator of Food Systems Network NYC, Caitlin supported the efforts of a 200+ cross-sector membership organization.

Caitlin holds a Master of City and Regional Planning degree with a concentration in Community Development and Food Systems from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. Prior to getting her graduate degree, Caitlin was a restaurant, catering and event manager.

In May, Dave Meyer joined our communications team as Writer / Social Media Coordinator.  Dave comes to us from ATD Fourth World, where he was responsible for English language communications. Dave first gained experience in social media as part of the Permacyclists Project, a three-year overland journey through Africa and Latin America making documentary films about grassroots environmental initiatives. He has also worked as a freelance travel writer and journalist. Dave holds a B.A. from Carleton College, and an M. A. from KU Leuven in Belgium.  Dave lives in Woodstock, and is President of the Woodstock Farm Festival Committee.
