Our work is focused on New York’s Hudson Valley, the nexus of the largest food market in the country.
The Hudson Valley exemplifies the rural and suburban environments that surround so many of our cities, and we believe these regions will be increasingly called upon to produce more food in the coming years.
The Hudson Valley features fertile soils and ample water, and the climate allows for a relatively long growing season, which new technologies can extend even further.
We believe constellations of positive actions by citizens, business leaders, and government officials in the region, coupled with the blessings of nature and geography, present a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate how to strengthen community, promote environmental renewal, and secure economic vitality.
We hope our efforts will inspire widespread change throughout other regions.
